Cracked Heat Exchangers.

Winter is coming…and we have no heat!

According to one recent article tens of thousands of people fall ill, and over 400 people die, each year, due to unintentional carbon monoxide exposure.

These photos were just taken of a heat exchanger – which came out of a furnace that we replaced in October 31, 2017. Many of us in Georgia have natural gas furnaces. When fossil fuels like natural gas burn, they produce fumes containing carbon monoxide. A furnace depends on the heat exchanger to contain these dangerous fumes and safely conduct them up and out the flue pipe while transferring that cozy heat in your home. If your furnace is compromised by a crack or rust, flue gases and carbon monoxide will leak into your home, which in turn, could result in catastrophic illness.

We are very appreciative to our technician, Josh, for having used the cameras we provide them with to find these cracks, so that instead of being sick, or mourning a grievous loss, they got to enjoy their Halloween.

We at Hammock’s AC are offering to inspect your furnace for a very special price of $39 each unit.

Don’t wait until it’s too late!

...Hammock's AC, Inc. has impressed us again! We first used them at our old house to replace an aging system. Not only did they do fantastic job, but truly went above and beyond in the customer service department. While our downstairs unit was being replaced, we started having problems with our upstairs unit. Not only did the owner himself come out to take a look because they were so busy, he was fixed the upstairs unit with a part from the old downstairs unit and didn't charge us anything. That's on top of the portable unit they loaned us to keep us cool while the work was being done...
